Kim Bell is the General Manager of Blue Ridge Communications TV-13, as well as an important member of the Eyewatch News Team. As an accomplished TV journalist, Kim anchors and reports on the stories effecting Northeast Pennsylvania. She has been recognized by her peers with an Emmy Nomination and several National Communicator awards.
One of the highlights she recalls while working at TV-13 is the time she interviewed the parachuting world record holder, Donald Kellner, and then parachuted out of an airplane with Don, 2 miles high. Kim is a news junkie, who always wants to find out what’s going on.
Kim has been an active volunteer for the American Cancer Society for over a decade, as well as working as a volunteer for the local Dream Come True organization. Dream Come True grants wishes to seriously ill children. For years Kim has also been involved with Palmerton Hospital, volunteering to help coordinate their annual auction. When she is not working, this mother of two (Ashley and Alex) loves to ski the many Pocono resorts. Kim loves running, all kinds of sports, and cheers on the Philadelphia teams (GO FLYERS)! Kim is an active member of the Board of Governors for the Mid Atlantic Region’s National Association of Television Arts and Sciences. She is a Graduate of Bloomsburg University in TV and Radio Communications.
