Tihanna loves covering breaking news around the Monroe County section of the Poconos. She joined TV-13 in March of 2009 and you can catch her Monday thru Friday at 5pm and 6pm on the Pocono Report. Before moving to Northeastern Pennsylvania, Tihanna spent long days and night covering everything from crime to the community at an ABC affiliate in Central Texas. And while she loves the close-knit atmosphere of the Poconos, she is a city girl at heart. Tihanna graduated from San Francisco State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Broadcast Journalism and she is a native to the Bay Area. It was there she got her first job in a newsroom as a Producer/Writer for KCBS 740-AM. After honing her skills alongside some of the most talented journalists in the country, she went on to work for several television news stations in the #6 market, including KTVU and KRON. During her career, Tihanna has interviewed politicians including former President Bill Clinton, Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi, and celebrities such as Magic Johnson and Steve Harvey. In her spare time she enjoys high-end retail therapy, traveling to exotic locations, hiking, reading, and spending time with her family. Tihanna also loves meeting new people, especially viewers.
