A Monroe County municipality moves to help volunteer firefighters. Coolbaugh Township Supervisors enacted an ordinance to give firemen a real estate tax credit up to 20 percent and up to a 250 dollar earned income tax refund last night. They have to make 25 percent of the calls. It's open to any township resident regardless of which fire department they serve. Coolbaugh is the second Monroe municipality to help firefighters. Tunkhannock Township passed a similar ordinance last month.
