“Let Them Walk in Our Shoes”
San Carlos Apache Reservation is located 120 miles east of Phoenix, Arizona along US Route 60. There are few opportunities for employment on the reservation and in nearby towns.
Dr. Gene Gerber lived on the reservation in the 1980s and served as a dentist there with the Indian Public Health service. He and Linda Ott (formerly of Palmerton) travelled to the reservation on behalf of TV13 to help distribute your donations to the families! Thank You to both Linda and Gene!
