If you're driving down Main Street in Honesdale you might notice a pop of color. The 2021 installment of the Great Wall of Honesdale is up.

A Wayne County Arts Alliance member tells us this past winter was a dark one in our society, so they wanted to put up the most colorful wall they could. Over 300 entries were narrowed down to twelve. Those winning artists' painting, photography, digital, textile or silk screen works of art are now shown proudly in the community.

"There was an awful lot of good work that came our way, so the idea then was to try to not just select great art, but also create a wall that had a unity to it," Paul Plumadore, WCAA Curator, said.

You can get involved with the wall by voting on your favorite work of art in their "People's Choice" contest. Voting opens on the alliance website on June 1st. Each vote costs $1.
