The Monroe County Coroner has identified the homeless man hit and killed by a tow truck Tuesday morning in Bartonsville.
62-year-old Joseph Volper of Stroudsburg was struck while walking in the travel lane of Route 611 just before eight o'clock.
Police say Volper was in the road pushing a car full of belongings when the tow truck hit him.
The driver was reportedly blinded by the sun and didn't see Volper.
The truck was from Steele Towing and Transport but the identity of the driver is still unknown.
The cause of death has been ruled accidental.
