It was a gorgeous, 60 degree day, but it came with two inches of rain. The combo of both is making some problems on the roads. Since the ground is still frozen, water can't matriculate back down and ends up finding somewhere else to go. It could simply create a pond on top, flow into the roads or find it's way into your basement. On roads that don't have drains, there could be large puddles of water which could cause your car to hydroplane while driving.
And tomorrow's forecast calls for freezing temperatures. That means all the water on the roads will most likely freeze making for very icy road conditions.
