The Philadelphia Eagles are finally Super Bowl Champions and Birds fans are wasting no time getting their new gear.
The Eagles beat the New England Patriots 41-33 in Super Bowl LII Sunday night.
We swung by Modell's Sporting Goods at the Lehigh Valley Mall Monday afternoon where excited fans from all over the Lehigh Valley are flocking to get their hands on a piece of Super Bowl history.
"I've been waiting for this since I was a little kid. I was there for '80, 2004...this was kind of improbable, I didn't see this coming but I'm excited," said Damon McCauley, a Bethlehem resident.
Modell's is one of many stores that has been open since the game clock hit zero and store managers tell us they can't keep merchandise on the shelves.
"It's been absolutely crazy. Since the game ended, we've been opening and [merchandise] is flying off the shelves. We just got replenished with goods right now. Fans have just been ecstatic, they've gone since this morning with no sleep, just pure energy," said Dan Clayton, a manager at Modell's.
Clayton tells us Modell's will continue to get new shipments of Eagles gear daily through the next few weeks.
