Some residents are upset about a new change at monthly meetings held by the Pocono Township Commissioners. The board previously allowed people to make comments about items being discussed during the meeting itself. Now Pocono Township is reserving times for the public to speak at the beginning and end of the meeting. Pocono Township Commissioner Jerry Lastowski says they're not trying to silence the concerns of residents but they want to keep meetings moving and orderly. That discussion about where the public can make comments is expected to continue at future Pocono Township meetings.
