The Jackson Township Fire Company had sustained major damages to their headquarters in Reeders. Their roof was completely destroyed, a truck was damaged on a call Friday, their key fob door locks shorted, and their heating furnace broke.
Despite all of that, they are still taking emergency calls as if nothing ever happened.
One of their concerns is online fundraising. They were informed someone had made a Go Fund Me page, but no one from the Board or any other officials made it. They're not sure where the money would be going if people were to donate. They are asking people not to donate to anything that isn't authorized by the fire company themselves.
