The governor's limiting of commercial vehicles on the highways should make managing the roads in parts of Monroe County much easier.
With interstate 380 passing through Coolbaugh Township, officials are hoping this order will allow them to clear the roads and handle any incidents much quicker.
Bill Weimer, Chariman Board of Supervisors, Road Master Coolbaugh Twp said, "When you start to limit the travel that will allow the larger vehicles not to get in the way. If they get into an accident it's extremely difficult. With a car you have the ability to get small wreckers in and manipulate and move them. Where as the tractor trailers need much bigger rigs to go in there and take care of them."
Township officials are looking for volunteers to help with warming stations. If you are free to help please contact Coolbaugh Township.
