Students at Panther Valley Junior Senior High School spend the day Friday on lockdown after another bullet is found on campus.
According to Panther Valley superintendent Dennis Kergick, a spent rifle bullet was discovered in the girls' locker room at 9:20 Friday morning.
Police were immediately alerted and the school went into a precautionary lockdown.
Summit Hill and Lansford police, as well as a state police K-9 unit, conducted a thorough search of the building and found nothing of suspicion.
The lockdown was lifted just after 1:00 Friday afternoon but no lunches were able to be served to students.
The incident remains under investigation.
This is the second bullet found at Panther Valley in the past two months. One was found in the cafeteria back in March.
