Emergency leaders in Pike County are concerned with a lack of ambulance services.
Advanced life support pulled out of the county last year and the municipalities have been scrambling ways to get by.
Now all the townships are working together to bring a regional ALS service provider into Pike County.
Since county officials can't raise taxes to pay for these services, it will be up to the townships to find a way to fund it.
Each township is able to tax a small percentage. They are considering pooling that money together to bring a staff of paid emergency personnel to service Pike County.
