The East Stroudsburg Area School District has had an all-online schooling option for years now, but in February the school board approved what people are calling The Blended School. It's a mixture of online learning and in-class tutoring.

It's an approach Principal Dr. William Vitulli says this is the first of it's kind in the Monroe County area, and this year will be the first year it's offered to students grade 6-12. Students will have access to 20 online teachers. Students will have access to four full-time teachers who will be at the building every day plus Dr. Vitulli.

Dr. Vitulli expects enrollment to exceed 200 students. If parents have questions they want answered, they can attend the informational meeting on August 7th, 7pm, at the blended school which is located behind JT Lambert Intermediate School. There will be more than one informational meeting, so visit for further dates.
