A brewery in Wayne County has walked away with some big awards at this year's Pennsylvania Farm Show. The Wallenpaupack Brewing Company took home four awards including the P-A Preferred award for its "farm house wet hop" beer and first place for its' "Large-mouth I-P-A". This is the first year for the awards and the brewing company has only been operating for about a year.

Wallenpaupack Brewing Company Owner Becky Ryman says the attention from the win is really important to the brewery right now as it works to expand into new markets. The farm show is recognizing local breweries because many are using farm products in their beers. For the winning beer, the hops are grown at the Hop Barron Farm near Honesdale.

The Wallenpaupack Brewing Company will be celebrating the big win with a party tomorrow night.
