100 years ago a rock from space fell from the sky and landed on a farm in Wayne County. For the past 30 years it's been on display at the Wayne County Courthouse but few people were aware it was actually there. So members of the family that found the meteorite have asked that it be donated to Wayne County Historical Society and today the Wayne County Commissioners agreed. The meteorite landed in 1914 at the Bigelow farm near the village of Niagara. The meteorite will be officially turned over the historical society on May fourth when its' museum officially reopens for the season.
