Flower tents are a sign that spring has sprung.

Even with a little rain Friday afternoon, people were out and about getting their Easter flowers. News 13 stopped by the tent in the Burger King parking lot along Route 611 in Stroudsburg.

The owner tells us customers have been in all week to get tulips, daffodils and lily's-  but business is expected to pick up this weekend.

"You get the people who are on their way to other people's homes for dinner, so they're just picking up what they can find," said Shelia Koehler.

The tent will be open at 8 a.m. Saturday and Easter Sunday.

Owners say the week following Easter they will then get ready for the gardening season with hanging baskets, vegetable plants and a variety of other plants and flowers for the garden.
