The Tamaqua Chamber of Commerce is gearing up to kick off it's 13th season of summer concerts.

The Cressona Band takes the platform at the railroad station Wednesday, May 29th at 6:30 p.m.

Each Thursday through September, a new band will be on deck. Chamber officials want to remind music lovers of a few safety precautions so everyone can enjoy the concerts.

"We ask for your safety because this is a working railroad, please keep yourself, children and pets off of the tracks and off of the gravel," said Jennifer Drake, President of the Chamber.

The Chamber also reminds concert goers to leave the alcohol at home. More information and a list of musical acts in the concert series can be found on the Tamaqua Chamber's Facebook Page.
