Pennsylvania state trooper Benjamin Toth faces one single misdemeanor charge of patronizing prostitutes.

During the hearing Thursday a police report was presented from the commonwealth stating, in 2015 Toth responded to a suspicious vehicle reported that had a now 26 year old Samantha Monoforte inside. Monofote testified Thursday, saying she received message on Facebook from a profile that had no picture, from the name of Gary Gemanco in 2015. One message stated “i helped you jump your car when you were sleep by the mailboxes" she continued to messaging “Gary” off and on for 6 months even receiving an offer to be paid for pictures.

According to corporal Mark Mackahinas a witness called Thursday, Toth allegedly used a law enforcement database to access Montefortes personal information without a valid reason. Further evidence was presented in which Toths now ex wife Adrienne Toth claimed her husband has paid prostitutes in the past. Back in 2016 she turned over electronic devices belonging to Benjamin Toth to officials including an iPhone 4.

The iPhone contained messages sent from the email gary83717@hotmail.Com that was linked to over 20 craigslist postings. The postings discussed the performance of sexual acts in exchange for money. The defense rested today saying this is a result of a bad breakup and the information that was presented by the common wealth was irrelevant to the case. They also asked for it to be dismissed.
