The Schuylkill County Visitors Bureau is hoping to get people out and about across the county this summer.

It's the first year for the summer fun passport program. There are 14 destinations on the passport including Heisler's dairy bar, Hawk Mountain sanctuary, the Tamaqua Arts Center, the Hometown farmer's market and Yeungling brewery.

Once ten of the 14 locations have been visited and passports get stamped, participants can mail their completed passport to the Visitors Bureau to be entered to win prizes.

"There's lots of prizes and lots of chances to win. It's a lot of fun and we're hoping it motivates people to see and do things they haven't thought of or they don't know about yet," said Regina Gargano, Executive Director of the Schuylkill County Visitors Bureau.

You can fill your passport with stamps until September 7th. Passports are available at the visitors bureau welcome center, or you can download one online.
