Just before 4 Friday morning, officials from the Pennsylvania state police in Lehighton, alerted owners of the Chestnut hill diner. At around 3:30 am a 2018 Nissan traveling north on old rt 115 approached rt 209 and lost control and crashed into the front of the diner, damaging windows and the structure.

“Thank god it didn’t happen when we had customers,” said Cook, Debra Paszko. “They don’t seem realize at that hill on 115 they have to make a right or a left,” she added.
