For three months News13 has been following the speeding problem in downtown Mount Pocono, Now borough officials say changes are being made to make it safer for pedestrians.
“We’re in the process of purchasing four radar speed signs," said Mayor Michael Penn. "So the signs that have the radar and the speed limit on the same sign, two for each side of the road,” he added.
If you happen to drive through the area you will see the newly painted cross walks, which were once completely faded. Also new speed tracking signs to slow traffic.
