Pocono springs village in Tobyhanna township is an entertainment complex proposed for the intersection of interstate 380 and route 940. Construction was temporarily put on hold because of the lack of liquor licenses, the complex will need dozens for the various businesses that will be there.

With the help of local officials, Governor Wolf signed legislation to allow the needed liquor licenses to be transferred for the project. It will cost 65,000 per license plus a 1 million dollar fee to the liquor control board.

Developers say they still hope to complete phase 1 in 2021.
