The friends of Beltzville unveil a special donation.

This new maintenance shed sits just outside the Environmental Interpretive Center at Beltzville State Park on Pohopoco Drive.

The shed was donated thanks to the Lowe's Heroes Program. On Tuesday, the Friends of Beltzville, representatives for Lowe's and local officials came out for a dedication ceremony. Vice chair for the friends of Beltzville say the shed will be a tremendous help in keeping the park beautiful.

"All of our equipment which we bring ourselves, no money comes from the state- will be in this shed. We will be able to use it rather than trying to bring stuff in every time we do something so its a very very big deal for us," said John Dworsky.

The Friends of Beltzville help to keep the state park clean, maintain the trails and the pollinator garden.
