State Representative Maureen Madden secured $500,000 in state money for improvements. The funding comes from Pennsylvania’s multi-modal transportation fund program to improve traffic flow in the area.

“We’re going to be creating bicycle lanes down Main St. And we’re going to be improving the sidewalks and just basically the downtown,” said Madden.

Madden tells News13 there is still more that needs to be done before work can begin on this new project.
