A local organization needs your help to give some special individuals a night to remember.

C.A.R.E.S. is a community-based day program which helps adults with developmental and intellectual disabilities. In February, many of them will attend local "night to shine" events. A nationwide initiative held every year sponsored by the Tim Tebow Foundation.

"It's a night that they get to go out on the town, they can experience things such as limos, they can get their hair done, things like that. Dress up to the nines, just like anyone else would be able to throughout their high school experience," says Lance Williams.

C.A.R.E.S. is looking for formal wear donations which its members can wear to the February 7th event. Gently-used formal and prom dresses, tuxedos and suits along with shoes and accessories are all being accepted. Donations can be dropped off until the end of January at the C.A.R.E.S.  Tamaqua office located above the Salvation Army on East Broad Street....
