A Lansford teen is charged as an adult in an alleged stabbing during a fight after a robbery.

15 year old Eric Rodweller was arraigned on those charges Wednesday afternoon in district court.

Police were called to the 400 block of East Abbott street for reports of a robbery on February 10th. Shortly after that call, there were reports of a stabbing victim on West Patterson Street.

Court paperwork states Rodweller openly admitted to police during the fight with the victim, he became scared and without realizing it, pulled out a butterfly knife and stabbed the victim twice in the upper torso.

A garbage bag containing the blood soaked hoodie Rodwell was wearing at the time was discovered by police in his family's home. The knife was also recovered.

He's being charged with robbery, aggravated assault, and tampering with evidence among other charges. Rodweller is being held in the Carbon County Correctional Facility on $250,000 bail.
