A Weatherly man is behind bars for spending thousands of dollars from the school's alumni association.
Todd Gimbi was the president of the Weatherly high school Alumni Association. Police say he spent over $11,000 dollars on an alumni credit card he opened without the board knowing. Purchases include major league baseball tickets, hair restoration, home heating fuel, car insurance payments and more.
Gimbi used the card 155 times over a seven month period between December 2018 and of June 2019.
He is being held at the Carbon County Correctional Facility on charges including forgery, access device fraud, and deceptive business practice. A court date has been scheduled for June 10th.
