Pike County residents joined thousands across the country in the protests for George Floyd this weekend.

Protesters gathered on the sidewalks of Milford in solidarity against racism and police brutality. They chanted and held signs saying things like, "black lives matter", "I can't breathe", and "hands up, don't shoot". The protest was posted on Facebook, and several people commented in support of the gathering. However, others are saying everyone should move on now that the officer that knelt on George Floyd's neck, Derek Chauvin, has been arrested.
