A Monroe County resort is gearing up for Halloween in a big way. They are taking you on a spooky ride and bringing you to thrilling heights.

The Camelback Resort in Tannersville is opening its haunted mountain coaster this weekend. The 4,500 foot long steel track takes you down Camelback Mountain with some frightening views. News 13 got a sneak peak today and we saw several forest ghouls, roaming beasts and terrifying creatures of the night.

"People love not just the affects but also kind of the unknown of riding the ride in the dark as well. It's a completely different feeling than during the day time," Director of Mountain Adventures, Clinton Frantz, said.

If you want more adventure you can take the daring plunge over the shadowy abyss on the double barrel zip line.
