A Monroe County non-profit receives a big donation to help local veterans. Paul's House at Valor Clinic was recently given a vehicle to help veterans get where they need to go.

Officials say a fallen Vietnam veteran willed his Subaru forester to the Polk Township organization when he passed away. They say he wanted to be sure his vehicle could still be put to good use after he was gone.

"The vehicle is really a true blessing to us. It helps us get our veterans to and from work who don't have vehicles yet. Which we do welcome donated vehicles for the veterans on their path to independence again," Michelle Goyette, Valor Clinic Facility Manager, said.

The Valor Clinic holds a meeting on the first Monday of every month for anyone who would like to get involved.
