A Monroe County Organization is looking for volunteers to help plant trees.

The Brodhead Chapter of Trout Unlimited is asking for help in planting 1,000 trees and installing 200 tree shelters. The event is being held this Sunday rain or shine in a riparian buffer at the Cherry Valley National Wildlife Refuge in Stroud Township. They are asking volunteers to bring supplies like shovels, flat bladed digging bars and sledge hammers. If you are looking to get involved you can reach out to the organization by emailing brodheadchapter@gmail.com.
