We all celebrated bringing in the New Year differently, but come celebrated by welcoming a new family member. St. Luke's, Lehigh Valley Health Network and Wayne Memorial Hospital announce the first babies born in their hospitals in 2021.

At St. Luke's, the first baby in their system almost couldn't wait for New Years Day. At seven pounds and seven ounces, baby girl Tevanna Johnson came into the world at one minute after midnight to first time parents Terrell and Phylicia. At Lehigh Valley's Cedar Crest Campus, it was baby boy Maverick at 20 inches long to parents Valerie and Joshua who arrived at 3:22 in the morning. At Lehigh Valley Muhlenburg Campus in Bethlehem, parents Lekota and Tyler welcome their daughter Astraea to the world just after 5:00 a.m., and at Wayne Memorial Hospital in Honesdale, Carter Scariest entered the world at 5:50 in the morning weighing more than seven pounds. Congratulations to all the new parents out there.
