A Carbon County library is keeping young imaginations alive by offering children online story-time and crafts.

For the month of February Lehighton Area Memorial Library will be providing story-time to pre-schoolers on Facebook and their website through videos. Every Monday they'll post a new story and a new craft for children to do at home.

"We think this is a really good way to keep books and crafts and imagination going with the younger children when they can't get into us and keep the library on their mind so that they learn that reading is a really fun part of their everyday life."

The to-go bags filled with each week's craft can be picked up at the library in a contactless transaction. To reserve your to-go bag call the library before February 1st to register.
