Some Monroe County Nursing Home residents get a very special surprise.

Snowmen are now standing outside the Spring Village Personal Care Home in East Stroudsburg. There was plenty of raw material. So, the Cameron family took advantage of the winter wonderland and built the snow men to safely bring residents some joy and sense of community during this time of isolation.

"We're building snowmen and playing in the snow, so that the people here can see people and feel like they're not alone during COVID," Arwen Cameron, said.

They were able to build a very happy looking family of snowmen where residents would have a great view.

"These people really don't get to see their families or children, so we thought we have an abundance of snow in the Poconos we might as well put it to good use. So, we built some snowmen for them," Samantha Cameron, said.
