The Wayne County Public Library makes a very exciting announcement.

You can now step back into the building to check out a book. For roughly the past two months you've only been able to find your next great read through curbside checkout. The library director tells us they are so happy to have people back in the library again, but they are still keeping COVID mitigation efforts in place.

"Masks, social distancing, we are asking people to kind of limit their time in the library just so we can get more people in. And we have access to computers so you can come in and use that, they are wrapped in cling film and we have little baggies that we use for the mice," Tracy Schwarz, Library Director, said.

Library programs are still being done online, and they will continue to offer curbside checkout.
