Neff's National Bank has been in the Northern Lehigh area for more than 98 years.
That's a lot of time serving local residents. April is community banking month and this financial institution has a powerful plan to give back, starting with the gift of life for Miller Keystone Blood Center.
"They came to us and they said there was a definite shortage in the community for blood and they're asking for donors."
All donor spots were filled by bank directors, employees, and the public. The main branch of the bank in Neffs is also holding a food drive for people and another for pets.
"We have a great support from our community members whether it be for customer appreciation month, the food drive or for donations, whether it be for a coat drive or toys for tots the community has been a big supporter of the bank and a big supporter of the local organization."
Next week the sanctuary at Haafsville will bring some of their pets looking for new homes. Later in the month, non-profits will be setting up displays... and the month will end with customer appreciation days at both the main office and the newer branch in Walnutport.
