A new way to tour the Poconos is up and running in Wayne County.

The "Soarin' Eagle Rail Tours" held its ribbon cutting ceremony this morning at the Hawley Train Station. That's where the railbiking recreational adventure begins. The scenic route runs for two hours along the Lackawaxen River, and the four-wheeled bikes are powered by gently pedaling.

"Definitely nothing like it in the Pocono Mountains, that's what I think makes it so unique. What we do is we leave from the Hawley Train Station we pedal about three miles in one direction, along the beautiful Lackawaxen River, our guides turn you around and come right back in the opposite direction," Joseph Moscola, Owner, said.

The railbikes sit four or two people at a time. They will be open weekends through Labor Day and most weekdays. Reservations are not required, however, they're highly recommended.
