A group of drivers and riders show their love to a Monroe County man in hospice who's been organizing their drives for years.
Peter Klenke and his wife Tricia always organized a Wednesday evening cruise starting at Jimmy's Hilltop Ice Cream on Route 209 in Brodheadsville.. But COVID halted things and Klenke fell ill and is in hospice. Dominic DiFusco gathered all these people with classic and modern cars as well as motorcycles to ride by the Klenke house last night to give them thanks for all the memories they helped make.
"Show him how our community united to show him how him and his family are loved in this community. We want to show them how important they are and how much love and support we want to give them.." DiFusco said.
The group was escorted by west end fire company. And some hot rods got to burn some rubber in front of Klenke's house.
