Bear cubs are cute, but boy do they eat a lot.

Pocono Wildlife Rehabilitation and Education Center is in desperate need of food donations and is asking for help from the community. This season they have four bear cubs that are going through food like crazy. Each cub consumes 10,000-15,000 calories a day and they're growing rapidly. The center is accepting fruits, corn, and peanuts.

"The Wildlife Rehabilitation Effort is a community effort. We do all the work, but without people helping us by procuring some of the foods we need, we couldn't do what we do," Kathy Uhler, Director, said.

Besides food, gift cards are always welcome because they can be used to purchase more food when needed. Reach out to to find out more about making a donation.
