September is shaping up to be a very busy month for a Monroe County library. The Western Pocono Community Library is bringing back several in-person programs.

The Brodheadsville library director is thrilled to welcome children back for story time every Tuesday and Wednesday and the "PlayK Prep" Program which helps kids get ready for kindergarten.

"We want to make sure that we are filling any gaps that might be there with the school. Kids are getting ready to go back to school and they had the summer off last year was a little bit crazy, so we're hoping to keep the literacy and everything going at the right rate," Patti Weiss, said.

The library also has new special programs this month like the superhero program, a stuffed animal slumber party and an amazing race library day for the whole family.
