A Wayne County fair makes a great comeback after being washed out by Tropical Storm Ida.

The Greene Dreher Sterling Fair in Newfoundland had to be evacuated last week when Ida hit. They only lost one day of the fair due to flooding before they reopened. It wrapped over the weekend with a great crowd watching the demolition derby, livestock shows and checking out the incredible wood carvings.

"We've had really good crowds Thursday, well through the whole fair, obviously except for Wednesday. It's been busy, so we're really happy about that," Lyn Klingerman, GDS Fair President, said.

Klingerman tells us the demolition derby and truck pulls were some of the biggest draws to the fair this year.
