The pandemic has prompted some pretty creative fundraising ideas.

Franklin Township Volunteer Fire Company has been offering drive-thru dinners all year.

The auxiliary has supplies to prepare 300 ham or haddock takeout dinners ready for pickup this Friday. The public has been quick to support the cause.

"They've been wonderful. They've come out when we've had the block-party, when we had the giant yard sale and for goodness sakes we've had the dinners like almost once a month. So its a lot of money to raise, it's a lot of work but we have great volunteers and we have wonderful people supporting us."

You still have time to order a ten dollar ham or haddock dinner for this Friday by calling one of the numbers on your screen. The money is used for firefighter equipment, training, and just to pay the companies bills.
