A regenerative farm in Monroe County wants to teach the community even more about eating organic food.

Pocono Organics in Long Pond is holding cooking classes starting this month. Classes will be available to adults and kids. Students will spend a few hours with Executive Chef Lindsay McClain who competed on the show "Chopped". This month's class on the 19th is already sold out. She will be teaching how to make fresh pasta. However, there are still a few spots open for the lesson on November 16th. She will show everyone how to make fresh pies just in time for thanksgiving.

"Just going through all the kind of fun stuff, fresh pasta and apple pies and things you can do at your own house. And learn the tricks of baking, baking is hard and it's complicated and it's very precise. So, between that and learning how to make fresh foods and healthy foods and also fun foods is what we're doing," Ben May, Marketing Director, said.

You can see what they're cooking up each month on the Pocono Organics events calendar.
