Musicians of all ages and from all walks of life are practicing to make your Christmas merry.

After last year's virtual holiday performance shot in their parking lot they are back in person.

Some members of the Lehighton Band are teenagers while others have been playing for more than a half century. They're coming together for their annual Christmas concert Sunday, December 5th at 2pm.

"We have about a 30 piece band that will be performing loads of different pieces and music from Mariah Carey to Leroy Anderson. So we have a list of music that we're going to be playing."

There is a five dollar admission to the concert. The hour and half show takes place at the Lehighton Boys and Girls Band Hall at Sixth and Cypress Streets. The band is always looking for new members. They practice every Monday night from seven to nine to prepare for several shows a year. They are also available to play for picnics and other events.
