The Wayne County Public Library asks the community to join in on a monthly fundraiser.

The library is holding its "Second Saturday" book sale this weekend. You can stop by the Honesdale location and load up a bag of books for just two dollars. They're also accepting new or lightly used or lightly used books they can sell during the next "Second Saturday" book sale.

"We do ask that they are gently used, not written in, no mold. If you have some books that have kind of been hanging out in your basement for awhile we really would prefer that you keep those at home because we want to make sure that we stabilize the collection and make sure things are good and neat and nice," Tracy Schwarz, Library Director, said.

Schwarz says this is an inexpensive way for teachers to stock up on books for their classroom or parents to find a few more books for their children.Month
