We kicked off the week with wild weather and now we are kicking off Easter Weekend with more! Expect a very muggy night tonight across the viewing area. A cloudy Friday is on tap with some peaks of sunshine possible. Temperatures between 65 to 75 degrees (North to South). The warmer your air temperature the greater the chance for a thunderstorm. The storms could be on the strong side the further south you travel.
Timing: We can expect a possible thunderstorm or shower during the afternoon hours on Friday but the heaviest rain will move through overnight Friday into Saturday morning. Any thunderstorms that do develop Friday afternoon will only aggravate the situation before the main line of rain comes through early Saturday morning.
The Headlines for this event: Heavy rain in excess of 2 inches is possible in some areas (not all). Gusty winds are also possible with any thunderstorm that does develop. The severe thunderstorm potential will be monitored.
