A double meteor shower (Southern Delta Aquarids and Alpha Capricornids) will peak tonight across the eastern United States and most of us should have a decent view.  Its a great night to grab a few lawn chairs and just look up at the night time sky.  According to the American Meteor Society, the Alpha Capricornid meteor shower will be the one most visible tonight and should be about 3 to 4 per hour.   Grand total for both will be 20 to 25 per hour but the Aquarids will be faint on the southern horizon.     What's so special about the Capricornid meteor shower will be the fireballs associated with them as they pass through our atmosphere.   So get on outside, be patient and enjoy this amazing display.
