Laurie has been in and out of the BRC News 13 Family since 2002, when she started out as a reporter. In
2005, she moved on as a reporter to Fox 43 in Harrisburg, before hanging up her news hat and focusing
on her Meteorology studies. Laurie completed the Broadcast Meteorology Program from Mississippi
State University in 2007, and began freelancing on-air weather at TV stations in Harrisburg (WHTM and
WHP), Allentown (WFMZ-TV, Accuweather Channel), and right here at News 13. Laurie received her
Bachelor of Science degree in Communications Media from Indiana University of PA in 2002.

Laurie took a break from her career for several years to focus on raising her three boys. She is happy to
be back at News 13 in her role as Meteorologist since January of 2024.

When Laurie isn’t at the station forecasting the weather, she is most likely at one of her boys sporting
