Gavin Morgan joined Blue Ridge 13 News in January of 2026. He graduated from Millersville University in May of 2025 with a degree in Meteorology as well as Minors in Emergency Management and Mathematics. Gavin has always been fascinated with all types of weather from hurricanes to snowstorms. He remembers standing outside during hurricane Sandy giving an imaginary weather report and using a yard stick to measure every snowfall no matter if it was one inch or two feet.

In college, Gavin spent time interning with the National Weather Service in State College, PA and spent time practicing his forecasting ability through Millersville’s Campus Weather Service. Although he is new to Blue Ridge 13 he is excited to be working with a great team and improving as a meteorologist.

Outside of the weather, Gavin loves playing and watching sports. He is an avid golfer and skier as well as a fan of all the Philadelphia sports teams, especially the Phillies and Eagles. He spends a lot of his free time watching the games with his parents and his 4 siblings.
